I blogged earlier today about a tipster who reported eBay is finalizing a sale to Tom.com of its China operations. Now ChinaTechNews.com is reporting  that eBay and Tom.com have inked a deal, and the parties will make a formal announcement very soon.


However, the article still is short on details about what kind of deal it is eBay may be entering into. Here's AuctionBytes September 26th article about rumors circulating at that time.

Maybe eBay will pay them loads of money and Tom.com will allow eBay to build up it's B2B resellers market. Nothing says under the counterfeits & imports radar than a bunch of little packages going straight to small businesses and consumers.
